Purchasing rules

1. General Provisions
1.1. These rules for the purchase and sale of goods (hereinafter – Rules) establish the mutual rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the person acquiring goods in the online store www.skinstars.lt (hereinafter – Buyer) and UAB “Grožio Inovacijų Centras,” located at Paribio g. 25B-28, Vilnius LT-08102, (hereinafter – Seller). Registration address: Gelaziu str. 24, Zujunai, Vilnius distr.
1.2. These Rules establish the purchase and sale of goods, which are performed in the online store www.skinstars.lt.
1.3. These Rules for the Purchase and Sale of Goods have the same legal force as a contract.
1.4. The process of purchase and sale, the rights and obligations of the buyer and the seller are determined by the rules provided in the sections of the www.skinstars.lt online store and other information related to the purchase and delivery of goods.
1.5. By signing these Rules (by ticking the box with the words “I agree to the Terms of Service” or by clicking “Confirm order”), the Buyer confirms that they have read the Rules, understood their provisions, and agreed to abide by them. If the Buyer has not read and/or understood the provisions of the Rules or does not agree with them, they do not have the right to purchase any goods in the online store www.skinstars.lt.
1.6. The Buyer acknowledges that by checking the box with “I agree to the Terms of Service” or by clicking “Confirm order,” they are confirming (signing) a legally binding civil contract.
1.7. These Rules are a legally binding document for both parties, specifying the rights and obligations of the Buyer and the Seller, terms of goods acquisition and payment, terms of goods delivery and return, responsibilities of the parties, and other terms and conditions of purchase and sale of goods in the online store www.skinstars.lt.
1.8. In accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, the Seller reserves the right to change, amend, or supplement these Rules at any time.

2. Object of the Rules
2.1. These Rules obligate the Seller to transfer the goods specified in the “Order” (an electronic list of goods that the Buyer intends to purchase from the Seller) (hereinafter – “Goods”) into the ownership of the Buyer, and the Buyer undertakes to accept the Goods and pay the price specified in the Order.
2.2. The Buyer orders the Goods by following the rules and conditions provided in the www.skinstars.lt online store. These instructions are an integral part of these Rules. 2.3. Ownership rights to the Goods are transferred to the Buyer upon their actual transfer, or the transfer to the Buyer’s authorized representative.

3. Buyer’s Rights
3.1. The Buyer has the right, in accordance with these Rules, to perform all actions related to the purchase of goods on www.skinstars.lt online store.
3.2. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase and sale agreement concluded with www.skinstars.lt online store by notifying the Seller in writing (by email, indicating the desired return of the product and its order number) no later than within 7 (seven) working days from the date of delivery, only if the product is defective or damaged.
3.3. The right of the Buyer provided for in Section 3.2. of these Rules shall be exercised by the Buyer in accordance with the Rules on the Sale and Provision of Services when Contracts are Concluded Using Communication Means established by the Order of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania of August 17, 2001, No. 258. 3.4. The right provided for in Section 3.2. of these Rules can only be exercised by the Buyer if the product has not been damaged or its appearance has not significantly changed, and it has not been used.

4. Buyer’s Obligations
4.1. The Buyer must pay for the goods and accept them in accordance with the procedure established in the Rules of www.skinstars.lt online store. 4.2. The Buyer undertakes not to transfer their login data to third parties for accessing www.skinstars.lt online store. If the Buyer intentionally or unintentionally transfers their login data to third parties, the Seller shall not be responsible for the actions of third parties and the consequences of those actions.

5. Seller’s Rights
5.1. The Seller has the right to cancel the Buyer’s order in advance if the Buyer does not pay for the ordered goods within 3 (three) calendar days.
5.2. The Seller has the right to cancel the order or its part and refund the amount paid by the Buyer if, due to technical or third-party fault, the prices of the ordered Goods were incorrectly indicated on the www.skinstars.lt online store, or if there was a change in the prices of the ordered Goods from the order confirmation to the payment confirmation, or if the delivery of the ordered Goods is impossible.

6. Seller’s Obligations
6.1. The Seller undertakes to respect the Buyer’s right to personal information, provided in the registration form of the website (store), except for cases specified in the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the “Rules on Personal Data Protection.”
6.2. The goods ordered online must be delivered to the Buyer at the address specified by the Buyer, under the conditions specified in the Delivery Rules.
6.3. If, for important reasons, the Seller cannot deliver the ordered Goods to the Buyer, the Seller undertakes to offer a similar or as similar as possible item. If the Buyer refuses to accept a similar or similar item, the Seller undertakes to refund the Buyer within 5 (five) working days if an advance payment has been made.
6.4. If the Buyer has used an additional discount (e.g., free delivery) and later cancels or returns one or more items, the Seller reserves the right to deduct the amount of the additional discount granted from the amount to be refunded to the Buyer. For example, when purchasing goods for 50 euros or more, free delivery is automatically provided. However, if the Buyer cancels or returns one or more items, and the remaining order amount does not exceed 50 euros, the free delivery service is canceled, and the delivery cost is deducted from the refundable amount.

7. Payment Procedure
7.1. The prices of goods on the www.skinstars.lt online store and in the formed order are indicated in euros, including VAT.
7.2. The Buyer undertakes to pay the Contract price to the Seller in one of the ways proposed by the Seller before the Seller starts the Goods delivery procedure.
7.3. The Buyer pays for the goods using one of the following methods:
7.3.1. Payment using electronic banking via the paysera.lt system.
7.3.2. Payment by bank transfer – an advance payment when the Buyer transfers money to the www.skinstars.lt bank account.
7.4. When making a payment in accordance with clauses 7.3.1. and 7.3.2., only after receiving payment for the goods, the Seller begins to prepare the shipment of goods and starts calculating the delivery time.

8. Delivery of Goods
8.1. When ordering products, the Buyer commits to provide the delivery address and a contact phone number.
8.2. The Buyer undertakes to accept the products personally. In the event that the Buyer is unable to accept the products, and they have been delivered to the address provided by the Buyer or based on other information provided by the Buyer, the Buyer shall not have the right to make any claims to the Seller regarding the improper delivery of the products to the wrong recipient.
8.3. The products are delivered by the Seller or its authorized representative using postal services or couriers.
8.4. The Seller undertakes to deliver the products to the Buyer in accordance with the specified terms in the product descriptions. These terms do not apply in cases where the Seller’s warehouse lacks the necessary products, and the Buyer is informed of the shortage of the products ordered by them. At the same time, the Buyer agrees that in exceptional cases, the delivery of products may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Seller’s control. In such cases, the Seller undertakes to immediately contact the Buyer and coordinate the delivery of the products.
8.5. In all cases, the Seller is released from liability for the violation of delivery deadlines if the products are not delivered to the Buyer or are not delivered on time due to the Buyer’s fault or circumstances within the Buyer’s control. 8.6. During the delivery of the products, the Buyer must inspect the condition of the shipment. If the Buyer fails to report the condition of the shipment immediately (within 6 hours), it is considered that the shipment has been delivered in proper condition. If the Buyer notices that the packaging of the delivered shipment is damaged (wet or externally damaged), the Buyer must send a photo of the shipment by email (info@gic.lt) to prove that the shipment is damaged. If the Buyer fails to take these actions, the Seller is released from liability towards the Buyer for product damages, if such damages were caused by packaging damage that the Buyer did not report as specified above. 8.7. In the event that the Buyer, based on Clause 3.2 of these Terms, refuses the purchase-sale agreement, the Buyer is obligated to cover all direct costs of returning the products to the Seller, following the transportation fees indicated on the www.skinstars.lt website. The amount of these expenses incurred by the Seller is deducted from the refundable amount paid by the Buyer for the product(s). If the deduction does not cover the full claim of the Seller, i.e., if the expenses incurred by the Seller for returning the products exceed the value of the returned product(s), the Buyer must pay the remaining amount to the Seller within 15 (fifteen) days.

9. Warranty of Product Quality and Term of Suitability for Use
9.1. The characteristics of each product sold by www.skinstars.lt online store are generally indicated in the product description next to each product. In skinstars online store, product descriptions are written in Microsoft 365, making them easily readable on Apple and Microsoft devices.
9.2. The Seller guarantees to the Buyer that at the time of concluding the agreement, all items delivered do not have hidden defects and meet quality requirements, meaning they possess the characteristics necessary for the item to be used for its intended purpose, either usual or special.
9.3. The Seller is not responsible when, due to the specific features of the Buyer’s display, the colors, shapes, or other parameters of the products available on the www.skinstars.lt online store are improperly represented.
9.4. The quality and safety standards of skinstars online store’s products comply with the regulations of the European Commission.

10. Return and Exchange of Products
10.1. The return of products is carried out in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania No. 217 of June 29, 2001, “On the Approval of the Rules for the Return and Exchange of Goods.”
10.2. The Buyer may exercise this right only if the product has not been used, damaged, or its appearance has not fundamentally changed, i.e., changes to the appearance of the product or its packaging were made only to the extent necessary to inspect the received product. The Seller has the right to refuse to accept the product back and refund the money if changes to the appearance of the product or packaging that were not necessary to inspect the product have been made, including damaged labels.
10.3. The products are returned at the Buyer’s expense, except in cases where the returned product is not the one received, the delivered product is of poor quality, or the Buyer, based on Clause 3.3 of these Terms, refuses the purchase-sale agreement.

11. Liability of the Parties
11.1. The Buyer is fully responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in the registration form. If the Buyer does not provide accurate data in the registration form, the Seller is not responsible for any resulting consequences.
11.2. The Seller is released from any liability in cases where losses arise because the Buyer, without taking into account the Seller’s recommendations and their obligations, did not familiarize themselves with these Terms, even though they were given the opportunity to do so.
11.3. If the Seller’s website (store) contains links to the websites of other companies, institutions, organizations, or individuals, the Seller is not responsible for the information or activities found on those websites, does not maintain them, does not control them, and does not represent those companies or individuals.
11.4. In the event of damage, the guilty party compensates the other party for direct losses.

12. Force Majeure
12.1. The Parties are not liable for complete or partial failure to fulfill their obligations under these Terms if it occurs due to force majeure circumstances. The Parties understand force majeure circumstances as defined in the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.

13. Marketing Measures Applied by the Seller
13.1. The Seller may, at its discretion, initiate various promotions on the www.skinstars.lt online store. 13.2. The Seller has the right to unilaterally change the terms of promotions, as well as to cancel them, without prior notice.

14. Exchange of Information
14.1. The Seller sends all messages to the Buyer’s email address provided in the registration form. 14.2. The Buyer sends all messages and questions to the Seller using the contact information specified in the “Contacts” section of the Seller’s website (store). 14.3. The Buyer, following these Terms, agrees that informational messages necessary for product ordering, payment, and delivery will be sent to their provided email address and also agrees that their email address may be used for direct marketing purposes.

15. Final Provisions
15.1. These Terms are composed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
15.2. All disputes related to these Terms are resolved through negotiations. In the event that a dispute is not resolved through negotiations within 15 (fifteen) business days, the dispute is resolved by other means provided for by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

 

DELIVERY

Order Confirmation and Payment
After adding all the items to your shopping cart and submitting the order, you will receive an order confirmation on the same day. You can pay for your order using any of the payment methods provided on the online store www.skinstars.lt. If you choose a bank transfer, please transfer the money to the specified bank account number, making sure to include the order number. Please make the payment for your ordered items within 3 (three) days from the order confirmation date. If the order is not paid within this period, it will be automatically canceled.

When placing your order, don’t forget to provide accurate information:
1. Recipient’s name and surname
2. Delivery address

5. Email address

Delivery Methods
We will ship your order to any destination within the directions specified on the online store www.skinstars.lt. We ship products via registered mail, parcel lockers, or courier to your home, office, or any other convenient location, depending on your chosen delivery method.

1. Lithuanian Post (Lietuvos paštas)
1.1. Orders are delivered by Lithuanian Post. The order is shipped via registered mail. Lithuanian Post handles the delivery of products. The estimated delivery time in Lithuania is approximately 3 – 5 working days from the shipment of goods. More detailed information for international shipping is available at www.post.lt. Delays may occur due to disruptions in Lithuanian Post’s operations, such as during holiday seasons. Shipments are delivered to the specified address by Lithuanian Post on working days during working hours. In the event of the recipient not being present or for heavier shipments, a notice is left, and the recipient can collect the shipment at the nearest city or district post office, based on the specified delivery address.
1.2. The delivery cost is visible to the customer when placing the order.

2. Delivery to Omniva Parcel Locker
2.1. Orders are delivered to a parcel locker via Omniva parcel service: The order is shipped to your chosen Omniva parcel locker. The estimated delivery time is 2 – 3 working days from the shipment of goods. When the goods are delivered to the parcel locker, the recipient is informed via a short SMS message and an email. The message will contain all necessary information for collecting the parcel from the locker.
2.2. Delivery cost for delivering to Omniva Parcel Locker: Orders with a total value of 50 EUR or more are delivered FREE of charge to all Omniva parcel lockers in Lithuania. For orders with a total value less than 50 EUR, a delivery fee of 3.00 EUR is applied when delivering to all Omniva parcel lockers in Lithuania.

3. Delivery to LP Express Parcel Locker
3.1. Orders are delivered to a parcel locker via LPexpress parcel service: The order is shipped to your chosen LP Express parcel locker. The estimated delivery time is 1 – 2 working days from the shipment of goods. When the goods are delivered to the parcel locker, the recipient is informed via a short SMS message and an email. The message will contain all necessary information for collecting the parcel from the locker.
3.2. Delivery cost for delivering to LP Express Parcel Locker: Orders with a total value of 50 EUR or more are delivered FREE of charge to all LP Express parcel lockers in Lithuania. For orders with a total value less than 50 EUR, a delivery fee of 3.00 EUR is applied when delivering to all LP Express parcel lockers in Lithuania.

4. Home Delivery Throughout Lithuania via Courier:
4.1. Orders are delivered by a courier throughout Lithuania. The products are delivered to your home, office, or another location between 08:00 and 17:00 on every working day. The delivery duration is 2 – 3 working days from the shipment of goods. Before delivering the products, the courier will contact you at the contact phone number you provided and notify you of their arrival. The ordered products are handed over only to the person who placed the order unless otherwise agreed. Before accepting the shipment, please check the condition of the package (it should not be opened, torn, or otherwise damaged). If the package is damaged, please immediately report it by calling +370 68772725 and do not accept the shipment.
4.2. Delivery cost when using a courier: A delivery fee is applied for product delivery throughout Lithuania, except for the Curonian Spit.

RETURN CONDITIONS

The return of goods is governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the approved rules for returning and exchanging products. Here are some important points regarding product returns:

  1. Returns must be made within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  2. The buyer is responsible for covering the costs of returning a product if they wish to return an unwanted item and receive a refund.
  3. Alternatively, you can choose to receive a discount coupon for a future purchase if you want to exchange an unwanted product for another item.
  4. Refunds will be issued via a bank transfer to the provided bank account within 14 working days of receiving the service report.

The conditions for returning products are as follows:

  • The returned product must be in its original and undamaged packaging.
  • The product must not have been used.
  • The product must not be damaged.
  • The original labels (protective films, ribbons, etc.) must not have been removed from the product.
  • The returned product must be complete and maintain its original appearance.

Product returns can only be done using the Omniva Returns service. If a product cannot be accommodated in a parcel locker, it can be returned using courier services. Please note that neither Lithuanian Post nor bus courier services deliver to the ultimate recipient, so other methods of returning goods are not accepted and will be returned to the sender.

Returning a parcel through Omniva is straightforward:

  1. Contact us via email at info@gic.lt.
  2. Package the item and place it in an Omniva parcel locker.
  3. Expect a refund or product replacement within 14 working days from the date of delivery.

The cost of the return service is paid by the customer, in accordance with the applicable Omniva return rates.

Please note that items on sale cannot be returned. Products are only exchanged in cases of poor quality or damage. If you wish to exchange a product for an identical one, please contact us at info@gic.lt and send the product to the following address: Paribio str. 25B-28, LT-08102, Vilnius.

Depending on your location, the time for receiving a replacement product may vary. You may also consider using a tracking service or purchasing shipping insurance when returning more expensive items. We do not guarantee the receipt of your returned product.

PRIVACY POLICY

  1. General Provisions
    1.1. These Privacy Terms (the “Terms”) outline the fundamental principles and procedures governing the processing of personal data of Buyers (referred to as “You”) by the Seller (referred to as “We”) in the Online Store (referred to as the “E-Store”).
    1.2. The processing of your personal data is subject to these Terms, the Law on the Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and other relevant legal acts governing the collection of such data.
    1.3. We commit to selling goods to individuals who are at least 18 years old. If you are under the age of 18, you can only make purchases with the consent of a parent or guardian.
  2. Registration Submission Rules
    2.1. You are required to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information about yourself on the Registration Form. Inaccurate, false, or misleading information may lead to the cancellation of your registration, deletion of data, or restrictions on access to the E-Store.
    2.2. We acknowledge and respect the privacy rights of every individual who visits the E-Store. We collect and use personal data (including name, surname, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, and other information specified in the E-Store Registration Form) for the following purposes:
    • Processing orders for goods or services.
    • Resolving issues related to the delivery or shipment of goods.
    • Fulfilling other contractual obligations. 2.3. Personal data is processed using secure measures to protect it from unauthorized destruction, disclosure, or other unlawful activities. 2.4. We may use non-personal data, such as data related to the goods you have purchased, for statistical purposes. Such statistical data will not directly or indirectly identify you. We reserve the right to share these statistics with third parties.
  3. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties
    3.1. We may share information with third parties solely for the purposes outlined in paragraph 2.2. 3.2. Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties without your separate consent, except as required by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
  4. Submission and Updating of Personal Data
    4.1. You have the right to change and update the information provided in the Registration Form.
    4.2. We require complete, accurate, and up-to-date information about you to effectively meet your expectations and requirements.
  5. Transmission of Information or Claims
    5.1. Any notices related to the processing of personal data should be sent via email to info@gic.lt or by post.
    5.2. We will respond in the same form as we received the notice or claim.
  6. Processing of Personal Data By voluntarily providing personal data in the Registration Form, you agree that your personal data will be processed in accordance with these Terms.
  7. Changes to the Terms
    7.1. We reserve the right to modify the Privacy Policy in whole or in part, with prior notification to the E-Store.
    7.2. If you continue to use the services provided by the E-Store after the Terms have been changed, it will be considered that you have accepted the updated Terms.
  8. Final Provisions
    8.1. These Privacy Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
    8.2. Any disputes arising from the implementation of these Terms will be resolved through negotiations. In the event of failure to reach an agreement, disputes will be settled in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
